An exclusive Styled Shoot with 'High Society' glamour
What makes a piece of jewelry, a photo or a complete styling event more than just beautiful? The answer lies in the storytelling.
At Donna Dorée, it’s more than design; it’s a philosophy. Every piece of jewelry, every shoot, and every concept begins with a vision that honors feminine power and elegance. This vision came to life in late 2024 during an exclusive Styled Shoot in Middelburg, where high society glamour and haute couture came together in an enchanting setting.
A vision of elegance
Donna Dorée is all about women who dare to take their stage — a stage for your inner Golden Woman. My mission is to not only create special jewelry, but also stories that inspire. This idea was central to the preparations for the Styled Shoot. I invited photographers to not just take pictures, but to capture stories.
I inspired them beforehand by sharing my concept: a winter setting full of high society allure, with a touch of Bridgerton (love it!). A monumental building and mood boards full of tulle, pearls, poses and make-up ideas gave direction, while I introduced them to my designs. Every detail was thought through, every element a puzzle piece in the bigger picture.
The creative process; from concept to artwork
An event like this Styled Shoot requires precision. In collaboration with SterkZichtbaar I worked on the preparations and planning and together with Monique Désar I worked on the styling of the models. Haute couture fashion outfits, unique accessories and my luxury jewelry formed a harmonious whole. During the shoot I coordinated every aspect: from positioning props to adjusting the styling to create the perfect images.
My high-end jewelry played a key role in this. Think of an elegant earring that catches the light and makes a face shine, or a golden pendant that gives a couture dress that extra touch of class. It is those small details that transform an image into a work of art — exactly how I approach my designs.
Why details make the difference
The strength of Donna Dorée lies in her attention to detail. Every design starts with an idea: what emotion do I want to evoke? What do I want to convey? These questions are at the heart of my work, both when designing jewelry and organizing a shoot like this. Everything is thought out, down to the music of the Aftermovie...
At Donna Dorée, it’s about more than beauty; it’s about meaning. My jewelry is not just to be worn, but to be felt. It invites you to look beyond the surface, to connect and tell a story — your story. 
High Society glamor
This Styled Shoot was a celebration of feminine power and elegance. Every image was an ode to women who are not afraid to shine. The winter setting, filled with sparkling details and haute couture, created an atmosphere in which my exclusive handmade jewelry really came into its own.
Just like the women who wear my jewelry, Donna Dorée pieces tell a story of strength, refinement and timeless beauty. And now with the glamour that comes with a High Society and High Fashion setting.
The result of this day was not only a collection of images, but also a reminder of how creativity and collaboration can be special.
The Golden Woman in action
The Golden Lady is not a passive muse, but a powerful woman who dares to take her stage and is not afraid to make her mark on the world around her. She is the symbol of empowerment, self-confidence and timeless elegance — values that are central to everything Donna Dorée creates.
But how does this woman actually take action?
In the context of the event and the creation of my artistic jewelry, she came to life in many ways. She was the driving force behind the choice of every detail — from the setting in the winter high society atmosphere to the selections of the haute couture clothes and the accessories. Every decision we made was imbued with the essence of the Golden Woman. As we prepared for the event, she was the inspiration for the mood boards we shared with the photographers and the creative team. I told them the story of the Golden Woman: the woman who draws her power from her uniqueness, her ability to be both elegant and powerful. The Golden Woman is a woman who seizes every opportunity to express herself, to bring her creativity into the world and to take action — with refinement, but without compromise.
During the shoot itself, we saw her in action. She wasn’t just in front of the camera; she was the soul of every shot. The models, dressed in Monique Dèsar couture, embodied this woman with confidence and grace. They moved with the freedom and strength that the Golden Woman possesses, with Donna Dorée jewelry that completed their story. The sparkle in their eyes and the shine of silver and gold jewelry reflected the power of the woman they embody. The Golden Woman never stands still for a moment — she moves, she lives, she inspires.
Soon, in the future, she will continue to shine not only in my designs, but also in the stories I continue to tell. She comes into action in every new collection, every new creation, when I translate her visual and symbolic power into a new design. Every woman who wears a Donna Dorée jewel has something of the Golden Woman within her — her elegance, her strength, her courage. It is the women who dare to stand up, shine and embrace themselves who carry on the story of Donna Dorée.
